KNDI, Mount Kenya University (MKU) and Center for Excellence in Population Health and Policy Research from Bayero University Kano state in Nigeria inaugural meeting

KNDI, Mount Kenya University (MKU) and Center for Excellence in Population Health and Policy Research from Bayero University Kano state in Nigeria held an inaugural meeting at MKU premises to discuss matters of Collaborations. KNDI CEO Dr. David Okeyo and Prof. Salisu Abubakar had discussion with MKU management on 22nd March 2022 between 10am to 1pm. MKU was led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Deogratius JAGANYI.

Top in the list of discussions were collaboration in research, capacity building programs and Masters/PhD exchange programmes for students. KNDI CEO Dr. Okeyo informed that KNDI through its ATRI-PLC programme will bring together accredited universities to collaborate on matters of in nutrition and dietetics research and connected purposes. Also present in the meeting was Principal College of Health Sciences and Dean of Public Health.

MKU team present in the meeting was Dr. John Kariuri (Principal), Dr. Josephat Njuguna (Dean), Leah Njeri Mututho and Emily Wahome among others.
